Erica Heyward began preparing tax returns for friends and family at her dining room table in 2006. Today, she is a highly sought-after tax and small business expert and the owner of The Ultimate Tax Experience, a premier boutique accounting firm serving individuals and businesses throughout Midtown Atlanta, Georgia.
A native of Savannah, Georgia, Erica graduated from Savannah State University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She later earned a Master’s Degree in Financial Management from Keller School of Management in 2011.
Her professional career began in Corporate America before transitioning into higher education while continuing to prepare tax returns on the side. By 2015, her growing client base enabled her to pursue tax and accounting full-time.
What truly sets Erica apart is her commitment to her clients. She takes pride in easing tax concerns, providing one-on-one support, and helping everyone from W-2 employees to corporations generating over $1 million in annual revenue. Her mission is to simplify the complexities of taxation while delivering exceptional service.

LICENSED TAX PROFESSIONAL
Lisa is a native Atlantan with more than 10 years of tax experience and over 35 years of investment and banking expertise. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Studies from Georgia State University and an MBA from American Intercontinental University.
As an Investment Specialist, Lisa assists clients with retirement reviews and future-focused tax planning. She is passionate about helping individuals achieve their financial goals while reducing the stress commonly associated with tax preparation.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Lisa is a proud mother and grandmother who values building meaningful relationships with clients and supporting their financial success.
Portia Cutter
Client Relations Representative
Portia Cutter is a Savannah native and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Savannah State University.
As our dedicated Onboarding Consultant, Portia serves as the first point of contact for remote tax preparation clients after their questionnaire is submitted. She is committed to maintaining clear communication and ensuring all required information is gathered efficiently to create a smooth onboarding experience.
Contessa Crutchfield

Contessa is a native of Sylvester, Georgia, and has lived in Atlanta since 2008. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting while preparing for her Enrolled Agent certification.
With extensive experience in tax planning, compliance, and reporting, Contessa works closely with clients to develop effective tax strategies and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
She strongly believes that successful client relationships are built on trust and partnership. Her goal is to provide every client with personalized attention, professional expertise, and confidence in their financial decisions.
Dani Wilson
Staff Accountant
Dani Wilson was born, raised, and continues to reside in Marietta, Georgia. With over 12 years of accounting experience, she has worked with small businesses across a wide range of industries and is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.
Her expertise includes bookkeeping, payroll processing, business licensing, sales tax filings, personal property tax reporting, and financial record management. Dani is dedicated to helping business owners spend less time managing paperwork and more time growing their businesses.
Kristel Fields

Born and raised in the Philippines, Kristel has more than five years of experience as an Accounting Assistant and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
As Erica’s Executive Assistant, Kristel specializes in document management, client communications, appointment reminders, and various administrative functions. Her attention to detail and commitment to efficiency help ensure a seamless experience for both clients and team members.
